Sophia From 'The Walking Dead' Is 16 Years Old Now

A few weeks ago, I checked in with Addy Miller, the 9-year-old girl who played the very first walker on The Walking Dead. It’s been six years since Rick put a bullet in her head, and she’s a teenager now. She recently starred in a very bad Charlize Theron film.

Madison Lintz was 11 years old when she started on The Walking Dead. As you recall, she played Carol’s daughter, who got lost in season two and bitten by a zombie. Again, like the very first walker to die on The Walking Dead, Rick shot poor Sophia in the head, as well, after she shambled out of Hershel’s barn. Carol, who Daryl had to hold back, was obviously devastated.

Madison Lintz is 16 years old now, and she looks considerably different. She’s still a working actress. In fact, she played the daughter of Titus Welliver’s title character in the Amazon Prime series Bosch. I watched that entire first season, and to be honest, I never put it together that she was also Sophia.

Lintz actually comes from an acting family. Her mother, two brothers, and her sister are also actors, who have appeared in a number of projects. Perhaps the most recognizable is her sister Mackenzie Lintz, who was on Under the Dome.

As for Madison herself: She’s 16 now.
