Sure, this past Sunday’s Walking Dead episode ran a little light, leaning more toward the Rick and Daryl comedy hour (with a side of Jesus) than anything else. It was good to take a break from the heart-pounding threat of a nasty killer who wants to wipe out the group, never mind the walkers themselves — who vary between springing out of nowhere with a surprise shoulder bite, and clumsy lopers it barely takes an effort to put down. As Canada’s National Post observes, the show has always been a bit idiotic and yet still, we love it. So, enjoy watching Norman Reedus discover a van with a bunch of mysteriously empty hoverboard boxes (not unlike Amazon’s cupboards since the government declared them unsafe), then discover rolling walkers are even easier to kill.
I kinda want to see a variation on this play out in an upcoming episode.
Now, if it’s real fear you’re looking for, just listen to Reedus tell the story of that fan who bit him.
“Sometimes I like to pretend we’re married.”
People! DO NOT BITE YOUR BELOVED ACTORS, IT FRIGHTENS THEM.
