Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Hasbro (and please don’t fuck up the toys again).

According to a Fandango survey of moviegoers, the first of a certain space anthology movie series is 2016’s most anticipated, and while you and I won’t be surprised in the least that film is female led, we still have some convincing to do with the stodgy wankers running marketing and toy divisions. So let’s start right now, shall we?

HEY WANKERS, when you’re making the action figures and toys for Rogue One, don’t forget Felicity Jones’ character (who may or may not be named Lyra Erso).

That’s right, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story featuring Jones as leader of a rebel group out to steal plans for the Death Star, is the movie we’re most excited to see this year. Directed by Gareth Edwards and co-starring Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Donnie Yen, Diego Luna, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Forest Whitaker and Jonathan Aris, the anthology film isn’t out until next December, but it’s still at the top of everyone’s list.

According to Fandango, coming in at numbers 2 and 3 are Finding Dory and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice respectively. Also of note is this year’s most anticipated major comic book character debut — another female — Gal Godot as Wonder Woman.
