While the cancellation of “Happy Endings” means that we will never see Max’s eventual straight-gay wedding, nor will we find out if Dave will franchise his food truck, it doesn’t mean the cast of the show won’t continue working. Sadly, they will not likely be working together, at least anytime soon. Five of the six, however, do have projects in the works, and here’s where you can get your “Happy Endings” fix over the next several months.
Casey Wilson — Wilson, along with her writing partner, June Diane Raphael, has a production deal with ABC to create a new show, which Wilson and Raphael will likely star in.
Eliza Coupe — Will be joining the cast of Will Arnett and Margo Martindale’s CBS laugh-track sitcom in a semi-regular role. She’ll play the ex-wife of Arnett’s character.
Adam Pally — Will have a guest role in the second-season of “The Mindy Project,” and — among other celebs — will appear in John Stamos’ new web series for Yahoo!, “Losing It,” in which celebrities recount the first sexual experiences (Pally actually lost his viriginity to his wife).
Damon Wayans, Jr. — Wayans will return to New Girl next season, where he will have a multi-episode arc. Next year, he’ll also star in a buddy-cop comedy with Jake Johnson, Let’s Be Cops.
Elisha Cuthbert — Cuthbert has nothing in the works, although there’s some talk that she may return to 24, which will have a limited series run next year.
Zachary Knighton — Knighton has two indie comedies in the works. Teddy Bears, with Gillian Jacobs, will be out this year, and Believe Me, which is currently filming.
