A few weeks ago, I ranked the 10 contemporary television series with the most 90’s cast, but that was before we saw the cast for CBS’s latest CSI spin-off, CSI: Cyber.
Check this out: Leading the cast is Patricia Arquette, from True Romance. She plays Special Agent Avery Ryan.
Next up: James Van Der Beek, of Dawson’s Creek Fame, as FBI Agent Elijah Mundo. Elijah Mundo? That’s a terrible name (please only refer to him as The Beek).
Peter MacNicol, from Ally McBeal, will play Avery’s supervisor, Assistant Director Stavros Sifte.
Bow “Don’t Call Me ‘Lill Bow’ Wow (first album released in 2000) will play Brody “Baby Face” Nelson.
Luke Perry, from 90210 has just joined the cast in a recurring role as Nick Dalton, a former FBI agent.
The wild card is here is good guy Charley Koontz, best known for his role in Community, which frequently riffs on 90s pop culture.
If that cast appeals to you because you’re a nostalgia freak, WELCOME TO THE CBS DEMOGRAPHIC.
