It was another great weekend at the box office, thanks to The Hunger Games, which continued to pile on the cash, adding $61 million and passing the $250 million mark (the fifth-fastest to ever do so). Those numbers did not, however, completely demolish Wrath of Titans, which somehow managed to make $34 million despite being the world’s dullest film. TK warned me, but did I listen. NO I DID NOT. Even my popcorn fell asleep. Mirror Mirror, the movie I should have seen even though it’s a kid’s movie was Mirror Mirror, at least according to Joanna. That film came in third with $19 million. The rest of the top five was 21 Jumpstreet, which is about to cross the $100 million mark, and The Lorax, which is closing in on $200 million. If you’re curious, John Carter made $2 million this weekend.

Not a terribly exciting week at the box office (though, it was up 27 percent over the same weekend last year), so let’s move in a different direction for today’s April Fool’s box-office report: The F word.
