(SPOILERS, OBVS)

1. Jon Bernthal (Shane Walsh) — Having been killed off in 2012, Bernthal has had the most time among the major cast members who have been killed off to amass film and television credits, and he’s done a nice job of it so far, leading the cast on Frank Darabont’s middling series, The Mob, and turning in a remarkable supporting performance in Brad Pitt’s Fury, as well as an almost unrecognizable character in Wolf of Wall Street. He’s also got six movie due out in 2015.

2. Michael Rooker (Merle Dixon) — Rooker landed the juiciest post-The Walking Dead role so far, that of Yondu Udonta, the comic-relief villain in Guardians of the Galaxy. Aside from the indie Bolden!, however, the filmography cupboard is otherwise bare for Rooker.

3. Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes) — Co-starred in the already forgotten 2014 film, Into the Storm, which made $47 million at the box office (on a $50 million budget) and yet I have no recollection of it whatsoever. She will also star in Pay the Ghost, a Halloween version of Taken opposite Nic Cage.

4. Laurie Holden (Andrea) — Her post-Walking Dead pinnacle may be as the villainess in the horribly unfunny Dumb and Dumber To, although she does have a nice side gig as a real-life rescuer of sex slaves.

5. David Morrissey — Morrissey was a prolific British actor before The Walking Dead and he’s probably going to be a prolific British actor after The Walking Dead. After his AMC pilot bit the dust, he returned to the UK to do a British miniseries, The Driver.

6. Jeffrey DeMunn (Dale Horvath) — DeMunn, who essentially asked out of The Walking Dead after they fired Frank Darabont, went on to a supporting role in Darabont’s other series, Mob City, which was cancelled by TNT after one lackluster season.

7. Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. — He hasn’t had much time to add to his CV since his The Walking Dead character’s death, but so far, he’s got a supporting role in a straight-to-Redbox looking movie, St. Sebastian, led by William Fichtner.

8. Emily Kinney (Beth Greene) — It’s still too early to say how her post-The Walking Dead career will fare, but pre-The Walking Dead she mostly had bit parts in other TV shows. Expect her to try and milk her The Walking Dead fame in her career as a singer-songwriter. She’s actually a very sweet, very earnest singer.

9. IronE Singleton (T. Dog) — IronE is currently putting on a one-man stage show, Blinded by The Walking Dead, about Singleton’s rise from poverty to star of The Blind Side and The Walking Dead.

10. Scott Wilson (Hershel Greene) — The highlight, so far, of Wilson’s post-The Walking Dead life was being arrested for a DUI and refusing to take a field sobriety test, asking if he could do “yoga moves” instead.
