Pantyhole Blowers: 10 Celebrity Dudes You Had No Idea Had Outstanding Singing Voices

Today had one of those incredible mornings where I realized just how insanely cool the Internet is. I spent a couple of hours randomly typing in “actor name” and “singing” on YouTube, and came up with what I consider 10 pretty great Internet treasures. Some of these guys are rather obvious (I just hadn’t heard them before), but I was surprised by some of the others.

If you’re time-crunched and being selective about which ones to listen to, I was particularly impressed with Damien Lewis’ Clash song, Jensen Ackles’ version of “The Weight,” and the mind-blowing prospect that Daniel Craig can actually sing. But my favorite is probably the Renner video (he doesn’t appear until halfway through).

James McAvoy (from the TV Show Shakespeare Retold)

Naveen Andrews (from the movie Wild West and yes, that’s his voice)

Jensen Ackles (singing The Weight, which was almost enough to provoke me to watch Supernatural)

David Tennant (and Catherine Tate) (I know they’d done Much Ado About Nothing together, but had no idea it was 1) a musical, and 2) that Tennant could carry such an awesome tune)
