A Few Of The Possibly Forgotten Or Missed Cameos. From 'Iron Man' To 'Thor'

After seeing Captain Marvel with my daughter (her first viewing and my second), we decided that a complete chronological re-watch of the MCU movies was necessary. You know, it’s really amazing how much you forget about the early Marvel films. You remember Agent Carter’s tentative touch to Steve Rogers’s chest after his super soldier transformation is complete, but you forget about smaller moments. You forget how obsessed Hydra seemed to be with double-flamethrower soldiers. You remember Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges) was the amazing and calculating villain in Iron Man, but you forget “Fun-Vee” and “Hum-Drum-Vee.”

At least you do when you haven’t watched all of the Marvel foundational and early films before each new release. There have already been so many moments of, “I almost forgot Terrence Howard originated the role of James “Rhodey” Rhodes” or “The drones Ivan Vanko made in Iron Man 2 really should have soured Tony on that whole Ultron idea.” What really got me though were all of the little roles or cameos by various now-recognizable actors in the MCU.

This list includes Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Thor.

Richard Armitage - He played Heinz Kruger, one of the Red Skull’s (Hugo Weaving) henchmen. He caused an explosion in the viewing theater after Steve’s successful transformation and eventually took a cyanide pill after Cap caught up with him.

Natalie Dormer - Kisses Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and pisses off Agent Carter (Hailey Atwell) in Captain America: The First Avenger.

Martin Starr - In Culver University’s computer lab, he wiggles a slice of pizza as Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) attempts to track down the information from his and Dr. Elizabeth Ross’s (Liv Tyler) gamma experiment.

Bill O’Reilly - Plays his asshole self in Iron Man 2.

Kate Mara - She’s the US Marshal that serves Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) with a summons for the government hearing about the Iron Man suit in Iron Man 2. Mara went on to star as Sue Storm in the unfortunate and unsuccessful The Fantastic Four reboot in 2015.

Olivia Munn - Before she was Psylocke, she was a reporter talking about Tony Stark’s Stark Expo in Iron Man 2.

Michael K. Williams - During the Abomination (Tim Roth) Harlem rampage in The Incredible Hulk, the camera briefly focuses on him after a car is thrown past him.
