Disney Confirms Spin-Off Star Wars Movies. These 9 Amazing Fan-Made Posters Could Provide Inspiration

Disney confirmed this morning that they are indeed working on spin-off Star Wars movies based on certain characters from that universe. As Disney CEO wrote, “[Lawrence] Kasdan and Simon Kinberg are both working on films derived from great Star Wars characters,” continued Iger.

The plan is to release the Star Wars sequels every three years, and then release the stand-alone films in between, similar to the Marvel strategy.

EW suggests that perhaps a bounty hunter film featuring Boba Fett would make for a decent stand-alone film. Or, they could use these 9 Star Wars fan made posters as inspiration.
