Better Call Tim and Rachel: 5 'Justified' Spinoffs We Need Right Now

Guys, it’s Tuesday and there’s no more Justified…I’m totally depressed. Sure, Raylan and Boyd may have tied up things a little too neatly for some of us, but that doesn’t mean there’s not room for a spinoff or two. I mean, just look at Saul! (Honestly, I wasn’t expecting that show to make it, but after my initial misgivings, Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks and Michael McKean managed to suck me in.) And Justified is one of those series where practically the entire cast is ripe for the spinoff picking, so let’s throw out five of the most obvious they-need-their-own-series opportunities.

1. U.S. Marshals, featuring Rachel and Tim (Erica Tazel and Jacob Pitts)

The most criminally underused talent on the show finally get their due. Art retires, Rachel permanently takes over as Chief Deputy, and Tim’s top marshal in charge.

2. Bennett and Crowe, featuring Dickie and Dewey (Jeremy Davies and Damon Herriman) (prequel)

The misadventures and unlikely friendship between a would-be gator hunter with big dreams, and a doped-up schemer who sits around hoping a pile of money will fall into his lap.

3. Constable Bob, featuring Bob Sweeney (Patton Oswalt)

Bob wants to be a U.S. Marshal, but does he have what it takes? Follow Sweeney as he sweats his way through training and testing, while still working for the local P.D. Features a mid-season crossover episode with Rachel and Tim.

2. Apple Pie in the Sky, featuring Loretta McCready (Kaitlyn Dever)

Loretta takes over where Mags left off, successfully running Harlan’s one and only weed empire, with a lucrative real estate company as a front.

1. Livin’ Wynn, featuring Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns)

Duffy owns a travel agency in Fiji, where he’s living the high life on Markham’s dime. Lots of misadventures with women, and Wynn running around in his Speedo, spouting Duffy-isms.
