This Wednesday, September 2nd, the pinnaclular event known as #DubsmashWars — culminating from a series of increasingly entertaining Dubsmash videogasms traded by Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell and James D’Arcy, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet — will begin. That day, not only will their performances provide the finest moments of entertainment this week, they’ll also benefit two charities. As many of our favorite celebrities have learned, the Marvel-ish gang know their fight to the death fun and games can raise awareness and funds, so why not kill two… make fans happy, and benefit a couple of great organizations at the same time? With such thoughtful celebrities making the most of what we love about them, we owe it to them (and ourselves) to be properly prepared for the WAR contest, so here’s what you can do to make sure you’re ready to watch and vote:

1. Watch All the Previous Dubsmash Videos.

including behind-the-scenes footage:

Like a good and dutiful scout (not the homophobic kind), one must always be prepared.

2. Pick Your Team.

I mean, not to be cruel, but isn’t it obvious? One is in LIVING COLOR. One is blandy-McB&W.

3. Check out the Charities.

With each vote, you’ll be donating $1.00; proceeds will be evenly split between the two organizations.

4. Think Positively, and Pack Ahead.

In addition to charity donations, your votes get you entered into random prize drawings. The grand prize is LUNCH WITH HAYLEY ATWELL, James D’Arcy, Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet. I’m not saying my stuff is already packed, or that I already made a hair appointment and bought some *calming* drugs off the interwebs, but…I MAY HAVE ALREADY MADE A HAIR APPOINTMENT AND BOUGHT CALMING DRUGS OFF THE INTERWEBS.

5. Stare at These (and pile on)!

My work here is done. See you Wednesday!

p.s. Buy snacks.

p.p.s. And alcohol.
