10 Real-Life Couples Which Feature Television Actors That You Had No Idea Existed

Most people know by now that Anna Faris and Chris Pratt (“Parks and Recreation”) are married, although that realization almost surprised me as much as finding out that Nick Offerman and Megan Mullaly were married. So, I went out in search of other examples of this: Television stars that are involved with other television stars or lower-level celebrities. Basically, it involved four hours of Google searches for significant others of practically every modern television actor of whom I could think.

Welcome to the glamourous life of blogging.

  • Travis Schuldt (Keith Dudemeister from “Scrubs” and Subway from “Community) and Natalie Zea (Winona from “Justified”)

  • Peter Krause and Lauren Graham (“Parenthood”) because Krause wanted to match his co-star on “Six Feet Under,” Michael C. Hall, who married his “Dexter” sister.

  • Josh Hopkins (“Cougar Town”) and Erin Andrews (ESPN), though to be fair, Hopkins is linked to many women, but rumors that these two have been dating have persisted.

  • Taran Killam (“Saturday Night Live”) is married to Cobie Smulders (“How I Met Your Mother”). A big deal was made of this when Killam was hired onto “SNL,” but that was before anyone knew who Killam was. Also, why hasn’t he been able to swing a hosting gig for Smulders?

  • Amanda Peet (“Bent”) and David Benioff (Creator/Writer of “Game of Thrones”). This couple just makes me love each member even more. They’re adorable.

  • John Slattery (“Mad Men”) is married to his “Mad Men” ex-wife, Talia Balsam. I hope he treats her better in real life than he does on “Mad Men.”

  • Mireille Enos (“The Killing”) is married to Alan Ruck (“Greek,” “Spin City”). This one blew my mind.

  • Krysten Ritter (“Don’t Trust the B—— in Apartment 23” and “Breaking Bad”) is dating that dude, Brian Geraghty, from The Hurt Locker.

  • Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead”) and Helena Christiansen. I don’t know what freaks me out the most: That Reedus doesn’t always look like Daryl, or that Daryl is married to a former super model. They are apparently no longer together, but what matters is that THEY ONCE WERE.

  • Damian Lewis (“Homeland”) is married to Helen McCrory. Her name may not immediately ring a bell, but she was his co-star on “Life” and, of course, she’s Narcissa Malfoy.

    Bonus

Denis O’Hare (American Horror Story) is not only gay (I had no idea), but he looks adorable with his husband.

Also, Andrew Lincoln is not married to another television star, but he is married to Gael Anderson, the daughter of Ian Anderson from the rock band Jethro Tull. Also, Apple Martin (Gwyneth’s kid) was the flower girl at his wedding.

Also, Andrew Lincoln pre-stubble freaks me out.
