Climate change is now basically the single most pressing issue facing our species. I would apologise for constantly harping on about it, but seeing as the previous sentence exists, I won’t. I don’t know what school curricula look like these days but if climate education isn’t front and bloody centre then we really are doomed — even though it looks as if the kids have got it together way more than the ostensibly responsible adults in charge of things.

On the topic of climate education, there was a great Reddit ‘Ask Me Anything’ on the science and politics of glaciers hosted by one Dr. M Jackson the other day. It’s funny, warm, and informative and I’d like to see more like it. You can check out Dr. Jackson’s AMA here, but below are some highlights:
