It’s a bank holiday today here in the UK. We’re all getting a day off work for reasons that I won’t go into here because if I started I wouldn’t be able to stop, and that probably wouldn’t be a fun experience for anyone. What I am gonna do, is go for a nice walk to clear my head and find some serenity by the canal or maybe beneath some trees. The air has gotten crisper now, the long, relentless summer finally having yielded to common sense and returned to pre-climate collapse scheduling, so morning walks are nicer again: autumnal and bracing, all the better to sweep aside any unwanted clutter taking space in one’s mind.
