I am but a simple man who has never been fashionable and never will be. Barely even noticing trends as they come and go, occasionally being wafted along on some breeze and brought along without even noticing it, I mostly gaze on in a bemused manner at a world I will never understand but which I comprehend exerts a powerful influence.

All that is to say: Fashion trend’s can be weird innit? And there’s not much more fun than people bitching about something being beyond the pale as if they themselves had never been subjected to trends that others might have considered aberrant. We all do it. It’s just the way of the world.
