This is not a new topic by any means. In fact I’m sure I’ve covered it before. Nevertheless, it’s an issue that is not only not going anywhere, but that keeps becoming more relevant. As George Carlin once said (I promise I’ll stop quoting him soon): ‘The table has tilted, folks. The game is rigged.’ And while he was specifically referring to the illusion of choice in mainstream politics, it his pithy summary applies to the full spectrum of capitalism.
