I’m bilingual (Czech and English), but funnily enough that’s never really led to any notable
situations of being able to surprise someone by being able to speak their language when they don’t expect you to. Luckily, Reddit brought out plenty of examples over the weekend when it asked the question: ‘Multilingual Redditors, What’s Your Best ‘They Didn’t Know I Spoke The Language’ Story?
