Far be it from me to lapse into cheap and reductive generational warfare. I’ve written before about how less than ideal that is. Lazy and counterproductive, it perpetuates an ancient cycle that often serves to maintain the status quo far more than it does to disrupt it.

All that being said, as I age, I can’t help but find myself living more and more the old Abe Simpson adage about once being with it, but it then being changed into something strange and unknowable without you even realizing, leaving you to suddenly find yourself adrift and very much not with it. With that in mind, why not indulge in some good-natured, gentle, Millennial-on-Gen Z ribbing, as we dive into an AskReddit thread that asks the question: ‘Millennials of Reddit, what confuses you about Gen Z?’ You can check out the full thread here, but below are some highlights. It’ll pass the time while we work behind the scenes to unite against the common enemy: the planet-destroying rich.
