I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking this, but the idea of having to work a night shift breaks my brain a tiny bit. I’ve never had to work a job for which night shift work was mandatory, and for that I’m grateful. I know for some people it works, but I remember hearing about the first time I heard about the concept as a child and the degree to which it blew my mind back then has not lessened much in the intervening years. To me, it’s something nigh on unimaginable. Like the workers who spend their work day hundreds of meters up in the air on scaffolding. Bonkers.
