Look, I’m not normally one to toss my hat into the realm of The Internet of Politics, because that way lies madness. My bonafides can be summed up with “I didn’t vote for this assclown” and beyond that, I’ll look for reasoned debate that doesn’t have to be summed up with 240-character clap backs. But then said assclown goes and posts a dumb, needlessly mean meme about himself like he’s a teenager with a grudge rather than, oh I dunno, the elected leader of our country — and worse, he drags Game of Thrones into his mess:

And while entire think pieces could be devoted to how pathetic it is that we gave control of our nukes to a man who uses the word “haters” in actual public discourse and shares mocked-up TV show posters of himself for a cheap ego boost, I’ll be honest. It’s the Game of Throne thing that’s really bugging me right now. Like, has he even watched this show? A show about how self-serving leadership and pointless, greedy political infighting has distracted an entire nation from dealing with or even acknowledging a VERY REAL THREAT? Or if he has, do you think he understands it? Did Fox News happen to mention it this morning or something? Does he think because there’s a Wall in it that it’s inherently pro-him?
But the real question I’m stuck on is…
…Which Game of Thrones character does he think he is? pic.twitter.com/mblLi2MzF6

Does he fancy himself Jon Snow, and on the other side of that fog waits an army of White Walkers (a.k.a. IMMIGRANTS) trying to steal our land?
Or is he the Night King, preparing to overwhelm the “radical left” with his army of zombie sycophants?
It would be almost too easy to imagine him as a Targaryen or a Lannister — the two families most likely to sexualize their relatives. Though realistically he’d never make it as a Lannister, since they always pay their debts.
For all I know, maybe he fancies himself an Arya, keeping a running list of all the “haters” he’ll bring to an end. Though she’s a woman, so probably not. Khal Drogo is far more likely — powerful and virile and undefeated, having virgins handed to him and literally not knowing how to say “thank you” because there is no word for that in his lexicon.
But for my money, if I were going to cast him as any character in Game of Thrones, it would easily be Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane: a very dangerous monster who’s not alright in the head.
What do you think?
