Trump Gets Dragged Over DO NOT CONGRATULATE Stupidity

When Donald Trump called Vladi­mir Putin following his suspicious re-election win, the American president’s national security advisers warned him not to congratulate the notorious Russian president. According to the Washington Post, Trump’s advisers did this by “including a section in his briefing materials in all-capital letters stating ‘DO NOT CONGRATULATE.” So, of course, Trump ignored this and congratulated Putin anyway.

Today, he’s reportedly fuming over the White House leak that’s let the American public in on this. Probably because it makes him look soft on Russia and like a defiant moron who won’t listen to reason. As if either of those things is new information?

Anyhow, us liberals are trying to make it through this dark chapter in American history as best we can, by focusing on hope and raucously mocking our national embarrassment-in-chief. So, let’s enjoy Late Night with Seth Meyers’ latest comical evisceration of Trump’s latest wtf faux-pas.

But Meyers wasn’t the only one having fun with the continued nightmare that is Trump’s too-cozy relationship with Putin. This puppet POTUS was roundly mocked on Twitter with the latest meme his bad behavior inspired.

And naturally, RuPaul worked a plug in there, like a true queen.
