Want Proof That Migrant Caravan Was A Racist Election Stunt? Troops Are Already Leaving The Border

Hey, remember a week before the midterm elections when the migrant caravan was such a dire and pressing threat to national security that Donald Trump authorized the use of 15,000 troops on American soil? You know what would make that look like a blatantly obvious political stunt that easily activated racist white assholes? Pulling those troops from the border barely two weeks later, so of course, that’s already happening.

From Politico (emphasis mine):

The 5,800 troops who were rushed to the southwest border amid President Donald Trump’s pre-election warnings about a refugee caravan will start coming home as early as this week — just as some of those migrants are beginning to arrive.

“Our end date right now is 15 December, and I’ve got no indications from anybody that we’ll go beyond that,” said Buchanan, who leads the land forces of U.S. Northern Command.

If you don’t get your news from Freedom Jesus Never Kneel Dot Gun, this information clearly exposes the troop deployment as a naked ploy with terrifying implications. Specifically, how easy it was for Donald Trump to just go ahead and unleash a buttload of troops on U.S. soil. Even the military went, “Yup, this looks bad,” and officials attempted to backpedal the December 15 timeline by saying some shit about maybe shifting troops to, uh… California! Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Sadly, this revelation won’t change the fact that a gaggle of armed militia morons have flocked to the border with the giddy, Christ-like hope of shooting their AR-15s at brown poor people pushing strollers. That toothpaste is way out of the tube, and just to be safe, Fox News is giving it a good stomp.

Goddammit.

And here’s where I get severely depressed because nothing matters anymore. Donald Trump isn’t even trying to hide that his rhetoric about the migrant caravan was horseshit to rile up the base. Letting the whole thing fall apart barely two weeks after the midterms would obviously be the clearest and most undeniable evidence that Trump was talking out of his ass, and he literally expended zero f**ks preventing that from happening. Because he doesn’t have to.

Case in point: We are literally watching the trademark chant from every single one of his rallies beautifully transform into an epic shit show of hypocrisy, and it won’t mean a goddamn thing.
