Surging Deez Nuts Is Busting Out in Latest North Carolina GOP Poll. Seriously.

In the latest poll of voters to come out of North Carolina, Donald Trump has widened his commanding lead over the rest of the field. Twenty four percent of voters say they’d vote for Trump, while Ben Carson is running a distance second with 14 percent, followed by Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz and Deez Nuts.

Wait, what?

Deez Nuts?

Yes, that’s a real candidate, or at least, really someone who filled out the paperwork to run for President. Deez Nuts is registered in Iowa, and not only is his/her poll numbers rising in North Carolina, he/she is also polling at 8 percent in Minnesota and 7 percent in Iowa. He’s tied with Marco Rubio in North Carolina.

In fact, in North Carolina, Trump holds a theoretical 45-42 percent lead over Hillary Clinton, but when Deez Nuts is factored in, it’s only a 40-38 lead.

And Deez Nuts is just busting out now. Imagine what the polls will look like a month from now, when voters have had a chance to sample Deez Nuts? That’s hard to swallow, and surely, Deez Nuts is leaving a bad taste in Donald Trump’s mouth right about now.
