Shut the F*ck Up, Tucker Carlson

I know it shouldn’t have, and know that by letting it, I have let Tucker Carlson win, but this tweet literally kept me up for an extra hour last night.

You arrogant cock-wormble.

Listen, you smug cumstain. Liberal America doesn’t need your help in excoriating Harvey Weinstein and his enablers. We’re doing just fine on our own in that regard, thank you very much. In case you hadn’t noticed, we’re dragging Hollywood wonder boy Matt Damon through the mud, so science the shit out of that, Tucker. There are a lot of people from whom we expect responses, mostly people who have worked extensively with Weinstein over the last 20 years. In case you haven’t noticed, we’re leaving no rock unturned.

Hillary Clinton, though? Who the fuck cares? She took his campaign contributions. Yes. From what I understand, Weinstein has contributed $2.2 million to Democrats since 2000, $26,000 of which went to Hillary Clinton. Compare that to the NRA, which contributed $30 million in 2016 alone to Donald Trump’s campaign. $26,000 is peanuts, by comparison’s sake, and Harvey Weinstein is not trying to pass laws to make it easier to access weapons that allow men to sexually abuse people. I seriously doubt that Hillary Clinton was holding back out of some loyalty to that raping human bear rug. Clinton is a private citizen. She does not hold an elected office. She is not running for an elected office again. She doesn’t owe anyone shit.

Also, Tucker, “women” aren’t an “issue,” they are human beings.

OK, Tucker, but let’s say, for the sake of argument, that we were in the midst of the Presidential campaign, and Hillary waited five days to speak out against Harvey Weinstein. If that’s a little “weird,” what do you call it when Donald Trump defends Roger Ailes?

“It’s very sad because he’s a very good person. I’ve always found him to be just a very, very good person. And, by the way, a very, very talented person. Look what he’s done. So I feel very badly.”

Or Bill O’Reilly?

“I think he’s a person I know well — he is a good person. I think he shouldn’t have settled; personally I think he shouldn’t have settled. Because you should have taken it all the way. I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”

And what about you, Tucker? How long did it take you to release a statement critical of Donald Trump, after reports that he assaulted 17 women surfaced? Oh, that’s right. You never did. You spend every goddamn night on your television show defending a serial harasser and someone who has admitted to assaulting women.

And you think it’s “weird” that Hillary waited five days to respond? Because I find it a lot weirder, Tucker, that you stand up for a known sexual abuser night after night after night and then try to use the assault of at least 15 women and the rape of at least another four women at the hands of Harvey Weinstein to score political points against a woman who isn’t even running for office.

I think what I’m saying is, shut the fuck up, Tucker Carlson. Oh, and you too Chris Cillizza.
