RFK Jr.'s Candidacy Is The Worst Kind Of Scam

A scam can’t work if no one goes along with it. That’s why it can be challenging to punish con artists. For a con to work, someone must go along with it willingly. It also helps if people around the con feed into it. If the scam is enforced by third parties, it’s harder to turn it down.

For instance, if I wanted to ruin the credibility of the Avatar Appreciation Association, I could allege that I speak on the AAA’s behalf. But, instead of praising James Cameron’s 2009 game-changer, I would say Terminator 2 was his greatest film. If I’m loud or have enough money to get the press’s attention, they may say, “Avatar Appreciation Association Representative Says T2 Is Way Better.”

Does any of this sound familiar, or do I have to keep squeezing water out of this rock of a metaphor? RFK Jr. is taking time away from being a bipedal steroid with eyes to run for president as a Democrat, despite sharing right-wing beliefs like needles in his private gym. Still, I assume sharing HGH with RFK is like trying to share anything with Kirby. You step aside as this bulbous monster absorbs everything in its path.

Recently, when asked about abortion, RFK Jr. showed support for a ban at three months. Then, he walked those comments back as if to say, “Whoopsie, I forgot who I’m pretending to be.” Then, when this reanimated corpse of a politician remembered who was paying his bills, he backpedaled again.

One of the worst parts about this is that media outlets still refer to him as a Democratic candidate. He isn’t! It could not be clearer that he doesn’t share the same ideals, issues, or values as the party he pretends to represent. He’s a scam artist, an idiot, and a liar. He’s not even pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes. He’s handing people poorly stitched wool sacks, and people are willingly suffocating themselves with them. It’s maddening.

Plenty of people are pointing out RFK Jr’s blatant BS, but hucksters like him deserve a more full-throated rejection. They can’t be taken seriously. There should be no room for them to squirm. We’ve seen what happens when someone like this digs their claws into the public consciousness, and the results are not good.
