Last night after ending a 35-day government shutdown that he started as a tantrum tactic to build his racist wall, President Donald Trump got to give his big boy speech, the State of the Union address. This is supposed to address where we are as a nation and where we are going, but since we’re meant to rely on a known liar to relay that information, I skipped it. If I’m going to watch a narcissist spew bullshit to cover the damage they’ve done, I’d at least like him to be hot like Penn Badgley or hilarious like Natasha Lyonne. So, I didn’t watch SOTU, but I’m pretty sure I saw the best bit. Twitter was going wild for Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, who wore suffragette white and responded to Trump’s bloviations with a clap that played like a clap back.
