Today, I dunno. Today, we wait and we hope that people — someone — within the Administration resigns in protest of yesterday’s events. There are a lot of people within the White House grousing privately, apparently, but no one has yet spoken with their actions. Axios is reporting that if one top aide leaves, it might start a run, but that top aide won’t be Gary Cohn, who is apparently furious and appalled but not enough to actually leave.
Gary Cohn said to be deeply upset by last few days, per multiple sources. Not leaving admin but not happy

If Gary Cohn and Steven Mnuchin are sticking around hoping to accomplish tax reform before they bail, good luck guys. Good luck getting anything passed with this President. You’re decimating your already tattered reputations for nothing. Tax reform, infrastructure, health care. It’s all in the garbage. Trump has no friends in the Senate. Zero.
What I don’t want is for the Generals — Kelly, Mattis, or McMaster — to leave. I hope they speak out, but without those three guys to check Trump, I’d be terrified of what might happen.
Meanwhile, there are two people in the Administration who are happy about Trump’s performance yesterday: Donald Trump and Steven Bannon.
Trump, meanwhile, was in a very good mood last night post-press conference. Felt liberated after doing what he waned, per sources

Steve Bannon was "proud" of Trump's performance yesterday, a source close to him tells Bloomberg:https://t.co/yW2zOLxXfH pic.twitter.com/gSeKacrdzp

Anyway, we’re all probably going to hear more from the far right blaming the left. Fox News is not going to stop being Fox News. Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, etc., are going to continue sticking to the talking points. I turned over to Fox News this morning, and they’re basically repeating these talking points with goddamn smiles on their faces, while stoking fears among their viewers that Elizabeth Warren may end up being President.
These are the talking points the White House sent out to Republicans in Congress tonight: "The President was entirely correct." pic.twitter.com/Mcdy53fRRI

Fox: Where is Elizabeth Warren?
It’s frustrating. It’s not going to stop being frustrating, and I’m sorry. There’s always going to be a loud 30 percent.
However, we can take heart in a couple of things that happened last night. First off, in Illinois, they passed a resolution that allows the state to treat Nazis as a terrorist group.
Resolution passed. IL law enforcement now free to treat Nazis as terrorists in the state of Illinois. Let’s see you plan a rally here, now. https://t.co/BHhjkzEXUA

Meanwhile, in the dead of the night in Baltimore, the mayor had four Confederate monuments removed with no advanced notice. From WashPo:
Photos and video posted on social media Wednesday morning showed crews using cranes to remove statues of Confederate Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson, hauled away on a flatbed truck. Statues honoring Confederate women and Roger B. Taney, the former chief justice who authored the notorious proslavery Dred Scott decision, were also removed.

I’m also going to take heart in this:
