Megyn Kelly Calmly, Coolly Deflects Newt Gingrich's Petulance in Bonkers Fox News Interview

Last night, in a bizarre exchange, Newt Gingrich accused Megyn Kelly of being “obsessed with sex,” because her show — more than other Fox News programs, I would wager — has actually covered the multiple assault allegations against Donald Trump. After making that accusation, Gingrich then repeatedly tried to badger Kelly into calling Bill Clinton a “sexual predator.”

Basically, it was two-minutes of a frustrated, slightly unhinged Gingrich implying that Megyn Kelly is a “dumb slut” and then trying to mansplain to Kelly how to do her job. Meanwhile, Kelly calmly, coolly let Gingrich unravel while wearing a deliciously maleficent expression that spoke volumes. Her expressions said: “You are a fucking idiot, Newt Gingrich, and you are making an ass of yourself on national television, and because you are such a hostile, whiny little fucker, I’m going to sit here and judge you while you continue to embarrass yourself.”

It was really a thing of beauty — I watched it on mute a couple of times, because it’s Kelly’s body language, more than her words, that just absolutely destroys Newt Gingrich.

Clearly, the cool and measured Kelly got the better of Gingrich in that interview, but being a Trump supporter means viewing everything through a funhouse mirror. There was a lot of love for Megyn Kelly on Twitter last night, but I’m not going to show you that because there are 13 days until the election, and I need to remind you all of why it’s so important that you go vote.

Megyn Kelly is a good example of why we should repeal the 19th.
