Oopsy Daisy, Kid Rock Got Caught Drinking Bud Light

Bad news for all you MAGA-lovin’ transphobes. Your redneck king, Kid Rock, was recently caught drinking a tall can of Bud Light at a concert in Nashville. Wait, wasn’t Kid Rock the one who posted a video of himself shooting up cases of Bud Light and then proclaiming, “F*ck Bud Light and f*ck Anheuser-Busch”? All because trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney collaborated with the brand on a single sponsored post? Yep, that was Kid. But, in his defense, that was over four months ago.

Somebody filmed Kid sucking Bud at a Colt Ford show in Nashville on Thursday night. The musician’s drink of choice obviously comes as a surprise; while Kid never explicitly said “Boycott Bud Light” like country singers John Rich and Travis Tritt and far-right pundits Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh, his shooting video made his message loud and clear. He was one of the faces of the hate campaign against Dylan Mulvaney and all trans people.

But, last month, it was reported that Kid was still serving Bud Light and other Anheuser-Busch products at his Nashville bar, Rock’s Honky Tonk Rock & Roll Steakhouse. One patron told Newsweek that a waitress claimed the bar had only stopped selling the beer for a week (right after Kid’s video). And now Kid’s straight up drinking Bud in public?! Hypocrisy, thy birth name is Robert James Ritchie!

Obviously, Bud Light boycotters on social media were not impressed with Kid’s betrayal. One user wrote that they were “STRONGLY against CANCEL CULTURE”, but they’d make an exception for Kid and his “products”. Go woke, go broke! Others theorized that Kid was the victim of a mass liberal conspiracy:

So, what makes more sense? TMZ doctoring the video so it looks like Kid is drinking Bud Light? Or Kid not actually giving a shit about any of this, and the only reason he posted that shooting video in the first place was for the sweet, sweet attention/money he knew he’d get from MAGA transphobes?
