Hey! Remember how over 10 women had come forward to express how uncomfortable Joe Biden made them feel with his back touching, and head kissing, and nose-to-nose contact? And remember how Joe Biden released a video apologizing for making some women feel uncomfortable by invading their space, and how he vowed to learn from it?
Yeah, so … about that.
Facing accusations of inappropriate touching by women, Biden jokes with crowd after hugging boy on stage: "By the way, he gave me permission to touch him." https://t.co/jlvV2pkVbQ pic.twitter.com/xjxDi326UG

I’m not sure Biden joking about accusations that he invades women’s personal space is the right way to go—especially after putting out a video saying he’d learned from it. But we’ll find out!

Yes, Sam Stein. Let’s find out if that was the right way to go. Let’s ask Twitter!
Just apologize, Joe! Jesus! Apologize and mean it and stop making light of something you claim to care a lot about! MY HEAD HURTS I AM SO TIRED.

Just what we need in a president. Another old white guy who thinks consent is a fucking joke. https://t.co/FxfvbO7mBB

Joe Biden's twice joked about his physical behavior toward others and made asking permission for it seem silly. If anyone's looking for contriteness after the last week, his speech makes clear: Joe Biden is Joe Biden. He’s 76 years old. And love him or hate him, he ain’t changing

It’s funny because he made women uncomfortable and thinks their complaints are a joke. https://t.co/6W83269sTB

It'd be so good if we could just fast-forward to the moment when he finally bigmouths himself out of the race, because the later it happens, the worse for all of us. https://t.co/XLCEuFMSQ3

Joe "Gaffe Machine" Biden has faceplanted on the biggest threat to his campaign twice in about 5 minutes https://t.co/GvWFkpGtt3

On the other hand ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This strategy *wouldn't* work for, say, Bernie or Beto or Booker, because they're relying on younger, "woker" Democrats. But around 25-30% of the Democratic primary electorate consists of voters who are Baby Boomers or older and without a college degree.

It is important to remember that Twitter does not reflect reality. It’s also important to remember that reality is a neverending hellscape infested with p*ssy-grabbing demons.
