Jeffrey Epstein Allegations May Ensnare 'Prominent American Politicians ... And a Well-Known Prime Minister'

Yesterday, the indictment against Jeffrey Epstein was made public. Epstein is being charged with operating an extensive network of underage girls who were made available to hundreds of powerful but creepy men. Investigators also found a treasure trove — hundreds if not thousands of nude photos of underaged women in his NYC mansion — proving that his conduct is still ongoing. Epstein, who is wealthy and faces life in prison, and is, therefore, an obvious flight risk, is being held without bail.

The Epstein connections are obviously far and wide and could include, according to the court, which unsealed documents pertaining to the previous Epstein case, “allegations of sexual abuse by numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well-known prime minister and other world leaders.” Trump and Bill Clinton could obviously be implicated (Clinton denied any wrongdoing through a statement), but others like Prince Andrew could also be pulled into this. I even saw somewhere that there were photos of Epstein with Woody Allen, which comes as a surprise to no one. Moreover, more connections to Trump are surfacing, including this quote from the NYTimes:

In 2000, a porter who worked next door to Epstein’s Manhattan home told a British newspaper, admiringly, “I often see Donald Trump and there are loads of models coming and going, mostly at night. It’s amazing.”

Unsurprisingly, Fox News is trying to throw up smoke, and God knows who they want to protect, or maybe they’re just doing it out of habit.

Why now? Well, in addition to the Miami Herald’s incredible reporting, and the MeToo movement, there’s also the fact that guys like former NY Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and Manhattan DA Cy Vance — who helped cover up Harvey Weinstein’s abuses, and also managed to lower Epstein’s registered offender status from a Level 3 to a Level 1 — are not in the picture here. A lot of powerful people were involved, and those powerful people know other powerful people, and when the entire system is operated by powerful white dudes looking out for each other, you create Jeffrey Epsteins.

One of those powerful men was current Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta, who is coming under another round of fire for brokering the sweetheart deal for Epstein in 2008, which made it possible for Epstein to escape prison after only 13 months despite facing charges that would have put him in for life. Nancy Pelosi, as well as a few Democrats and even Republicans (like Ted Cruz), have called upon Acosta to resign. Meanwhile, apparently, Acosta’s standing in the White House was already bad before any of this broke.

Apparently, the only thing keeping him in is the fact that more Democrats haven’t called for his resignation, and obviously, you have to wonder how deep Epstein’s tentacles reach into the old-money Democrats in the party. The fact that Epstein had thousands of pictures of nude underage girls in his New York City apartment suggests that he had very little fear, in part because he probably believed he had a great amount of leverage over a large number of powerful people. I mean, it answers the question of why he is so obscenely wealthy, despite the fact that there doesn’t seem to be much work product to support that wealth.

Still, why hasn’t Trump forced Acosta out? And why has Trump — who weighs in on everything — not weighed in on this on Twitter?
