Jeb Bush Declares He Would Kill A Baby Hitler If Presented With The Opportunity

Listen, we’ve all thought about what we would do if we had a time machine. Those conversations always start out with changing small scale personal events before moving on to the real question: Would you use the time machine to kill Adolf Hitler? Most people say yes, because they can’t imagine a hateful, motivated, and detested person like Hitler being swayed by anything other than death.

I get it.

I think what makes Republican Presidential candidate Jeb Bush’s response to the age old question stand out is the specification of killing a baby Hitler. It takes the whole thing to another level of morality when the reviled historical figure to be assassinated is an undeveloped infant with endless possibilities in their maturity and development. However, I can still understand Bush replying to Huffington Post as he did when they asked about emails received at his [email protected]. If we can’t all agree that Bush was attempting, and in my opinion achieving, humor, then I’m fairly certain we’ve all lost our collective minds.

“It said “If you could go back in time and kill baby Hitler, would you? I need to know”.”

“Would you?”

“Hell yeah, I would! Look, you gotta…step up, man. That’s, that would be key. The problem with going back in history and doing that as we know … from the series Back to the Future, is it could have a dangerous effect on everything else, but I’d do it. I mean, Hitler, I mean.”
