On Saturday, after Donald Trump gave his shitty, ambiguous, equivocating “on many sides” statement, The Daily Stormer — a neo-Nazi and white supremacist news and commentary website — put out the following statement, which basically said: “Trump isn’t against us, therefore he is for us.”
Trump comments were good. He didn’t attack us. He just said the nation should come together. Nothing specific against us.He said that we need to study why people are so angry, and implied that there was hate … on both sides!
So he implied the antifa are haters.
There was virtually no counter-signaling of us at all.
He said he loves us all.
OK, well, it’s terrifying enough that the fucking Nazis believe that Trump is with them, but then The Daily Stormer — oh lord, get ready for this — actually attacked the woman who was killed by a Nazi over the weekend:
If that headline doesn’t make your head explode in anger, maybe this line from the article will:
In the video, you can clearly see that most people dodge the charging Dodge. Heather was unable to dodge the Dodge, because she was “just too fucking fat to really move much at all,” according to one observer.
Furious yet? Because it gets worse:

Anyway, several people complained to GoDaddy — who hosts The Daily Stormer website — and this morning, GoDaddy announced that they were booting The Daily Stormer:
We informed The Daily Stormer that they have 24 hours to move the domain to another provider, as they have violated our terms of service.

I don’t know why they hosted The Daily Stormer for as long as they did but at least they finally saw fit to give the nazis the boot.
Seems a bit tepid that @GoDaddy just now realized that neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer isn't a great thing to host. After 4+ years?

GoDaddy was actually late in the game, here, as it seems that The Daily Stormer had long been refused service by other organizations. From The LA Times:
Anglin accused his adversaries of “trying to silence protected speech, and they are able to shut down my access to PayPal, credit card processors, Patreon, advertisers, even webhosts, with threats to defame these companies in the media,” Anglin told The Times in an email earlier this year.
Andrew Anglin, the founder of The Daily Stormer, has also been banned by Twitter and Soundcloud. He is also facing a lawsuit from the Southern Poverty Law Center for targeting a woman in anti-Semitic harassment campaign.
And again, it’s not like anyone is trying to “silence protected speech”; it’s that we’re using our own freedom of speech to try and remove his access to private entities that allow him to amplify his hate speech. Everyone has the right to say what they want to say — no matter how awful — but there is no Constitutional requirement that private organizations associate themselves or support that hate speech.
Anyway, The Daily Stormer tried to frame this as a hack by Anonymous, and while some people fell for it briefly (ahem, Variety), we all know the truth now.
Daily Stormer is faking an Anonymous takeover of their website. We know GoDaddy is taking you down.

Next time - use spell check.
Now, there’s only one logical move left:
Hey @Twitter, they shut down an entire website. What say you to banning @realDonaldTrump from Twitter? https://t.co/HlLhScX10W

In better news, the Internet raised over $220,000 for Heather Heyer’s family in under 24 hours.
