During his White House Press Briefing today, Sean Spicer not only compared Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad to Germany’s Adolf Hitler, he said that he was worse than Hitler, presumably in an attempt to contrast President Trump’s actions favorably with, like, the whole of the Allied forces in World War II.
“You even have someone as despicable as Hitler, who didn’t sink to using chemical weapons [as Assad did],” Spicer said.
I didn’t see the press conference, but I assume that’s the moment when Sean Spicer wished he had a time machine so he could travel back 10 seconds and refrain from saying what may have been the dumbest statement ever made during a White House Press Conference.
Wow Spicer's lucky there's not some Jewish holiday about the liberation from the forces of death on right now.

Sean Spicer just tried to rewrite history and claim the Holocaust didn't include chemical weapons. This is why neo-Nazis are team Trump.

Sean Spicer just praised Hitler for not using chemical weapons.

Sean Spicer is really out here minimalizing the holocaust

And then, somehow, Sean Spicer made a terrible situation even worse.

“[Hitler] was not using the gas on his own people the same way Assad is doing,” Spicer said.
Oh?
Take it away, Twitter.
Did Spicer just say even Hitler didn't even sink to the level of chemical weapons?!?

IS HE TOTALLY INSANE?!?
HITLER SLAUGHTERED MILLIONS!
.@PressSec Spicer just clarified by saying Assad is worse because he gassed people "in the center of town."

Lesson learned, Assad. Use gas chambers.
@BraddJaffy There isn't any word in the English language to adequately describe Spicer's stupidity.

Even Hitler didn't employ Sean Spicer.

whom could have predicted that Spicer talking extemporaneously about Hitler would have turned out thusly
