The things that his own campaign is saying? That Trump wasn’t prepared for the first debate. That they’re worried about Trump’s ability to prepare for the second debate. That Chris Christie may take charge where it concerns debate prep. That Trump is considering another campaign shake-up and that Roger Ailes may take over as campaign manager.

He may also just be lashing out because the morning polls in Michigan and New Hampshire don’t look good for him. He’s down by 7 now in both states.

So, what does a bully who is getting beat up do? He goes nuclear on a woman who dared to criticize him.

Good god, man. Is that all you got? That Hillary Clinton has been playing the long con on you, that she engineered Machado’s citizenship two months ago anticipating that you would fall into her trap at the debate, lash out against the former Miss Universe, double down on it all week, and that Trump surrogates and the embodiments of health Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich would continue to trash Machado for her weight, and that Trump himself would embark on a slut/fat shaming tirade.

If so, that’s the kind of long con I want a President to be able to pull off, someone able to anticipate a challenger’s moves two months in advance, plan accordingly, set a trap for him, and then stick the knife in his throat when he’s hanging from the net.

That is wicked smart. Sounds like Hillary wasn’t the one who got duped, bro. It sounds like you got duped.
