There have been a lot of polls to come in the last few days, and I just want to do a quick rundown of some of the numbers that stand out, though it’s worth cautioning that no one should feel any contentment whatsoever. The only way to ensure that these numbers come to fruition is to vote your fucking brains out in November.
Generic Democrats vs. Generic Republicans
NPR: 47 percent vs. 40 percent edge for Dems
Quinnipiac: 51 to 39 percent edge for Democrats
538 Poll of Polls: 48 to 40 for Democrats
Female Voters
NPR: 54 to 33, Democrats
Quinnipiac: 57 to 32, Democrats
Trump Approve/Disapprove:
NPR: 39/51
Quinnipiac: 38/58 (this poll was taken after Helsinki)
538 Poll of Polls: 41/53
Does Russia Have Dirt on Trump
Quinnipiac: 51 percent say yes.
Who Is Responsible for ObamaCare Going Forward
KFF Health Tracking Poll: Trump: 58 to 27 percent
Views On ICE
Pew: 44 favorable, 47 unfavorable
Should Roe v. Wade Be Overturned
NBC/WJS: 71 percent of Americans say no; 51 percent of Republicans say No
House Race
Real Clear Politics: 199 Solid Democrats; 202 Solid Republicans, but a whopping 34 Toss-Ups, only two of which are Democrats.
Cook Political Report Shows 37 Toss-Ups, only 3 of which are Democrats.
What’s the Best Mission Impossible Film:
Variety: 39 percent for Ghost Protocol, the obvious answer
