And then Cory Booker quit.

But don’t you worry! He’s not the last Black candidate remaining. There’s also Deval Patrick.

Wait, what? Oh yeah! Deval Patrick is running! How’s he doing?

Michael Bloomberg and Tom Steyer are also still running. Both are running on the “there’s not enough rich white guys in this race” platform.

Alas, as for Booker, his campaign just never caught fire. He is too nice for these trying times®, and not even his romantic relationship with Rosario Dawson could get him much in the way of notice. Honestly, he wasn’t a particularly compelling candidate, and he spent much of his time during debates playing nice instead of promoting himself. That makes for a good person, but not necessarily a great candidate for President.

In the meantime, there is just one debate left now before the Iowa caucus, and at this point, there are only six candidates who qualify for tomorrow night’s event: Biden, Sanders, Warren, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, and … Tom Steyer. The latest polls show Sanders narrowly leading in Iowa over Biden, Warren, and Buttigieg, and Buttigieg narrowly ahead in New Hampshire over the same three.

The Iowa caucus will be held on February 3rd.
