1. The House proposed their Obamacare replacement. It’s a disaster. There’s massive cuts to Medicaid; it defunds Planned Parenthood and any plan that provides abortion coverage; it will basically destroy the individual health market; and it significantly advantages wealthy people to the detriment of poor people. It’s a massive tax cut for those who make more than $200,000 a year, while millions will lose health coverage. Now we know why they were hiding the bill.
2. The House bill will be debated for months. Blood will be spilled. It will almost certainly not pass. Four GOP Senators have already come out against it. Even the White House has not exactly endorsed it.
3. North Korea launched four ballistic missiles this morning, designed — they said — to strike U.S. military bases in Japan.
4. President Trump signed another executive order suspending the refugee program and banning travel for those who are not lawful permanent residents in six Muslim majority countries, despite the fact that a Department of Homeland Security report specifically says that those from the six countries pose no real threat to the United States. It is another symbol of the United States’ hate of Muslims under Donald Trump.
5. Speaking of the executive order, this is not terrifying at all. Nope.

6. Ben Carson — in a meeting with the Housing and Urban Development staff — equated slavery with immigrants who, uh, just got “less” than other immigrants. “There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less.”
7. In a little covered story (so far), The New Yorker reported that “President Donald Trump and his eldest daughter developed a hotel in Azerbaijan that appears to be a corrupt operation run by a family known as “the Corleones of the Caspian” with links to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.”
8. This, which is just unconscionable:
CNN JUST IN: DHS Sec. Kelly says DHS considering separating kids from parents if they enter U.S. illegally: "I am considering exactly that."

9. Trump not only claimed credit today for an ExxonMobile project that was launched four years ago (and that will apparently create numerous jobs), but the White House press released plagiarized an entire paragraph from the Exxon press release.

10. Not only has Trump called upon Congress to investigate Obama for wire tapping Trump Tower based upon no evidence, Trump will not necessarily agree to Congress’ findings if they differ from the result he wants.
The WH is calling for House & Senate intelligence committee to investigate but won't commit to accepting the outcome of an investigation.

11. Gold Star father Khizr Khan cancelled a speech in Toronto after he was informed that his travel privileges were “being reviewed.” He has been a citizen of the United States for 30 years.
12. Donald Trump offered to continue funding Planned Parenthood if it ceased performing abortions completely (even though Planned Parenthood receives no federal funding for abortions).
13. In a setback to transgender rights advocates, the Supreme Court vacated an appeals court decision in favor of a trans student, Gavin Grimm, and declined to hear the case, meaning that the right of a trans person to use the bathroom that corresponds with his or her gender identity will remain unsettled for at least another year or two.
