If the header image doesn’t sufficiently prepare you, just know that on this week’s Podjiba we traded in more spoilers than usual, particularly in discussing Mrs. Davis, as Dustin and Tori gleefully shared out of context spoilers that, thankfully, I mostly don’t remember (although they did make me more excited to finish the season).
As a second note, we pretty much roll right into the Mrs. Davis conversation, so if you don’t want to hear that bit, skip ahead fifteen minutes, which is where we start to get into the excellent new Freevee series Primo, which was a delight to us all!
After that, it was big penultimate episode (or almost penultimate, in the case of Ted Lasso) day for us, as we spent most of the rest of the time our three weekly watches: Lasso, Barry, and Succession. And despite only having five shows, we still managed to go well past the duck quacks! Perhaps a new, more intense form of time management is required.
One more programming note: due to Dustin needing the extra time to mainline all nine seasons of Suits again the holiday weekend, we’re not recording next week’s episode until Wednesday, so it’ll be delayed. But on the other hand, that does mean that we’ll get to talk about the Ted Lasso finale alongside the others, so there is at least some benefit.
All of this, of course, assuming everyone is available to record, schedule-wise, and does not have any other pressing events come up.
Podjiba! Is it the only television podcast where the hosts now have to constantly assume that life events will preempt a recording week? Probably not, but it is available more or less anywhere podcasts are, including below.
