Dustin Loves A Show (But Not The One You Might Think) On Podjiba!

Those of you who regularly read the site already know that Dustin was won over by the Ted prequel on Peacock, which was definitely not the show we were expecting him to champion!

Instead, the show that was arguably our most anticipated of the week, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, fell into a strange middle ground for all of us to varying degrees — we enjoyed ourselves, but there were elements of the storytelling (mostly in building the relationship and/or chemistry between Maya Erskine and Donald Glover) that we hoped would be stronger.

Elsewhere on the podcast: mostly regularly scheduled programming: namely, True Detective: Night Country (only two episodes left, somehow!), season two of The Traitors (US edition), and my ongoing introduction to The Umbrella Academy (now on episode four).

But also, I definitely found my way to talking about another show that is technically unavailable in the US (but is likely available if you know a place where you might have read it), the new season of Australian Survivor!

(It’s not a problem, I can totally quit anytime I want.)
