So much television this week!

But first, an apology to those of you who have been patiently waiting for the regular return of the game: I swear we’ll bring it back soon enough, and with more regularity! Sometimes things are cut due to time, or left unplanned because of chaos in non-Podjiba sectors of life, or other times one of us (me) is several time zones earlier than normal which you would think might make it easier not harder to play a game, but in fact somehow makes it more difficult due to the amount of time allotted to recording. Admittedly, these are all excuses. But still, we hope to do better soon. Possibly even next week!

Anyway, as for this week’s Podjiba…

Dustin introduces us to the new HBO show Mare Of Easttown, which is a Dustin show if I ever saw one. Great cast? Check. Bleak small-town setting? Check. Murder that frames the season story? Check. Will Tori and I watch it? Maybe.

Then, we revisit the HBOMax show Made For Love, and consider what we felt about the season, what the ending means for a potential season two, and whether or not the three (or two) episodes a week strategy was effective!

We continue looking at yet another HBO property, The Nevers, which also conveniently leads us down a more superhero-y path, because then we finally get to our last show of the evening…

…the excellent penultimate episode of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, where Tori helpfully fills in some gaps for those of us who haven’t read the comics (Dustin) or still somehow have giant gaps in their MCU knowledge (Dan).

As always, Podjiba can be found wherever podcasts are available, and definitely is not behind whatever new paywall Apple just announced, because why would we do that? Also, the show is always embedded below if you like listening to podcasts while staring at the post you already read, or available directly from this link.
