An Explanation Of The Header Image! ('Beartown' And 'WandaVision' On This Week's Podjiba)

Those of you who listen with some regularity to Podjiba may have noticed that Dustin will occasionally say “You’re welcome!” Often this is said to Tori or myself. Other times, to you, the loyal listener.

In any event, this week that occasional utterance wormed its way through my brain and led to the creation of the image you see above, painstakingly crafted over the course of several minutes.

The image, much like the latest in NBA Top Shot digital collectibles, has no real inherent monetary value except that which we decide, arbitrarily, it may hold. Unlike the latest in NBA Top Shot digital collectibles, the image is not traded on a marketplace inherently designed to be a financial bubble built upon words like “collectible” and “legendary” and “blockchain”, safely ignoring other words like “no tangible value” or “financial speculation”.

You may wonder what this has to do with television. The answer is almost nothing, except that both things occupy space in my brain at this particular moment.
