Les Moonves’ wife Julie Chen — a co-host on The Talk — is stepping away for a few days to “be with family,” i.e., that dude who sexually assaulted at least 12 women. Sarah Gilbert — another co-host on The Talk who is also a star of The Conners — seems to be laying some groundwork here. “I support her always. However, this is an important time in our culture and just because this hits close to home, it doesn’t change this story. All women’s stories matter and these women’s stories matter.” I think what she’s essentially saying is, “I fully support Julie Chen, but I hope to hell she’s not thinking about defending her husband.” (THR)

Meanwhile, over on The View, Omarosa released her latest tape, got sh*t from The View co-hosts, and it still wasn’t enough to push the needle even on a slow news day. Omarosa’s 46th allotment of 15 minutes has expired. (Daily Beast)

Zac Efron hooked up with Mel B after exchanging sexts over an exclusive dating app. Allegedly. Also, Zac Efron is allegedly the luckiest bro on the planet this week. (Lainey)

GASP! Gwyneth without make-up. GASP! GASP! GASP! And as she demonstrates, it only takes $600 in products to transform her from a very attractive woman into a very attractive woman with $600 of make-up on! (Celebitchy)

Hey! That dumb guy from the Olympics got married again to a Playboy Playmate, although I can’t really deduce from the headline whether he got married “again” or he married her “again.” (Dlisted)

The NFL players stopped kneeling for the National Anthem this weekend (save for four lone holdouts), and The Root explores exactly why that is. “Maybe it was black people,” Stephen A. Crockett Jr. suggests. I honestly don’t know why, but my guess is that they didn’t want to be vilified anymore for standing up for what is right. That’s gotta be the most frustrating and dispiriting feeling in the world. (The Root)

Someone had to do it (in this case, it was Twitter): The Trump Administration and their The Simpsons character analogs. (AV Club)

Busy Phillips mocked a Lindsay Lohan dance, but in a not-cruel, Busy Phillips kind of way. (Uproxx)

“Is Tucker Carlson a Rabid White Nationalist? We’re Just Asking Honest Questions Here.” I love you (Wonkette)

That disapproval number is bigly!

Anger rising. (The Mary Sue)

Holy shit.

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga Get “Married” at the A Star Is Born screening and they make one hell of a stunning couple. (Tom&Lorenzo)

Ellesfena says that Jonathan Abrams’ new book, All the Pieces Matter: The Inside Story of The Wire, is for anyone who watched The Wire. Abrams talked to everyone he could about the making of the show. "There is so much information in here, it could have been five times as long and still have been interesting." If you haven’t watched The Wire, what are you doing with your life? (Cannonball Read 10)
