Who Hated the 'Game of Thrones' Finale More? Elizabeth Warren, Aaron Rodgers, or Kirsten Gillibrand?
Megan Amram, writer for The Good Place, and writer, director, and STAR of An Emmy for Megan is back for season 2 and our plucky heroine couldn’t be … I don’t know, pluckier? - (Vulture)
No one looks very happy to be at this Game of Thrones finale party at Sam Taylor Johnson’s house. Maybe this was taken after the show? - (Lainey)
Maybe I’m stupid (that was rhetorical, no one rush to agree with me!) but I don’t really understand why it’s such a huge deal to have activities of the Cambridges and the Sussexes covered on the same day. I mean, do they think that we are only able to read ONE article a day and we’re forced to choose which one? - (Celebitchy)
Dustin was kind enough to post earlier last month when my husband started his D&D one-shot adventure Kickstarter. There are fewer than 48 hours left to back it, if RPGs are your thing. If you’ve already backed it, thank you! If not, check it out and see if it seems interesting to you. And no worries, please don’t anyone feel obligated - it’s funded already. It’s over 21,000% funded! - (Kickstarter)
Orange Is the New Black should be returning soon, shouldn’t it? I can’t even wait to see what Dascha Polanco will be wearing for that promotion tour, because, woooooooo boy. She has a unique style, is what I’m trying to say. - (GFY)
No additional commentary is necessary:
Kirsten Gillibrand had thoughts, too. And she was pissed.
Oh, and even though Aaron Rodgers had a cameo in the final season, he was very displeased with the finale, too. And he had some thoughts, in particular, about Bran.
You didn’t hate the Game Of Thrones finale as much as Aaron Rodgers didpic.twitter.com/BfNSvpBAAG— Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) May 21, 2019
No additional commentary needed here, either, except that I stole this from Lauren_Lauren’s Facebook.
Doesn’t every teenage girl want to sit around with her mother and grandmother and listen to her mom talk about back in the day when she had a porn addiction? Poor Willow Smith! - (Dlisted)
Roxana made me snort a piece of my brownie up my nose when she posted this in our Slack, “Harmony Korine doing Gucci photo shoots with Harry Styles makes SO MUCH SENSE it actually hurts.” - (T&L)
Sesame Street isn’t just fuzzy muppets and giant birds. It was used as a tool to help fight against racism. - (Shadow and Act)
The television series version of What We Do in the Shadows is so goddamn good and Energy Vampire, Colin (played by Mark Proksch), is so very relatable. - (TMS)
Since publication last year, Sally Rooney’s Normal People was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize and won several British and Irish book awards. Four Cannonballers, faintingviolet, Manimama, jeverett15, and dAvid, have given it 4 or 5 stars and called it one of the best books they’ve read this year. The story of an off and on relationship could be simple, "Rooney instead imbues real, honest, and accurate depth into her characters and uses their on again, off again relationship to poke at larger truths." Are you looking for your next great read? (Cannonball Read 11)
