Elle did a series of Women in Television covers and they’re shockingly fantastic. Yes, Taraji P. Henson looks like we caught her on the can, but the women are so diverse, in age, race, and career material, and they all look like actual strong women, not coy sexchildren. Well done, Elle. (Go Fug Yourself)

If you’re interested in that sort of thing, here’s a roundup of “just the good stuff” from last night’s Republican debate. Amazingly, it’s not just a link to a 404 Not Found error. (Digg)

Okay, I’ll admit, this is a pretty good bit from last night. Donald Trump confirmed what we already know: that he has absolutely no idea how the government works. An actual quote describing the “old fashioned way” to do things: “You get the Congress, you get the Senate. You get together. You do legislation.” Boom. (Gawker)

It took less than 24 hours for that Friends reunion news to fall apart. It’s apparently basically impossible to get all six actors in a room together. This time it was Matthew Perry who had to break the news because he’s rehearsing a play in London. Maybe someone should have checked with him before announcing the internet’s dreams were coming true. ‘Cause a FaceTime reunion just doesn’t seem as satisfying. (Vanity Fair)

This is the weirdest celebrity friendship I’ve maybe ever heard of, and I love everything about it. (Lainey)

The Walking Dead’s Ross Marquand’s celebrity impression skills are off the charts. “Nano impressions,” as in super quick micro impressions, actually seem like they should be easier, but nailing the essence of Aaron Paul just in the action of recognizing a smell? That’s pretty incredible. (Uproxx)

There’s been sexual harassment and abuse in the comedy scene in Los Angeles for… well, for as long as there’s been comedy in LA. Over the last few years, more and more women are standing up for themselves, in large part through women’s Facebook groups, but the backlash has been extensive. Everything about this is messy and disturbing and a story that is just finally starting to be told outside of this tight-knight community. (BuzzFeed)

“Nerds” are taking over Broadway! (Rolling Stone)

Oh noooo. We lost another one, you guys. Dan Haggerty, aka Grizzly Adams, passed away today after a fight with “this bear known as cancer.” (THR)

Cannonball reviewing duo "Pattykates" headed down the fanfic road with their review of KC Dyer’s Finding Fraser, an homage of sorts based on the incomparable James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser from Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander saga. You may or may not agree with the idea of fan fiction, but who can’t get behind (ahem) a ton of Sam Heughan gifs? (Cannonball Read 8)

It’s been a rough week. Hold your loved ones extra close this weekend. Hold them, fidget with them, eat their faces… whatever makes you feel comforted.
