Less than a month ago, I wrote about how Jason Sudeikis and Keeley Hazell are officially a thing now. Just a few days ago, I wrote about how Irina Shayk is threatening to sue people for saying she’s not with Kanye West. — Which, yes, makes me an idiot for what comes next. — Well, apparently all of that got thrown out the window because it looks like Sudeikis and Shayk are now a thing. It’s a horny-ass summer, folks. (Page Six)

Is Michaela Coel replacing Letitia Wright in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? Probably not, but the Storm rumors are pretty awesome. (Lainey Gossip)

Anna Faris and some guy who’s presumably way cooler than Chris Pratt eloped at the courthouse. (Dlisted)

Megan Fox stopped drinking after her infamous belligerently drunk interview at the 2009 Golden Globes. (Celebitchy)

From Kayleigh: A24 happily leaning into the inherent horniness of The Green Knight.

From Roxana: Now that the mega-long Dune trailer is out, it’s worth revisiting this piece from last October about how the early marketing for the movie sure makes it look like all overt Middle Eastern and Muslim influence from Frank Herbert’s book has been compromised by the filmmakers. (Al Jazeera)

From Alberto: Presidential primaries were held in Chile, one by the left-wing parties and another by the right-wing bloc (center-left parties did not participate). The left wing primary saw, Gabriel Boric, a congressmen and leader of the 2011-2014 student movements against Daniel Jadue, the Communist mayor of a major district in Santiago. Well, unexpectedly, Boric won with over 60% of the votes, becoming the first Chilean Millennial running for President with a strong chance of winning. It gets better: the left wing primary garnered over 56% of the votes, and Jadue’s had at least 30,000 more votes than the winner of the right wing primary. (The Guardian)

From my dearest Photo Boy: Are you an outgoing, energetic person who loves the stress of having your income dependent on the whims of assholes? Click here to apply! (Medium)

Quentin Tarantino thinks it’s cool for a five-year-old to watch Kill Bill. The Kill Bill movie where two men talk about raping an unconscious Uma Thurman while standing above her bare feet, of course. (IndieWire)

I’m not a huge fan of Sean Penn in any sort of way, but it’d be pretty great if more big stars drew this line in the sand. (Variety)

Fairy tales are the first stories many of us absorb as children, so it’s no surprise that fairy tale retellings are a popular subgenre across the book world. This weekend, Cannonball Read is inviting you to share recommendations of your favorite retellings. Which retellings do you think bring something fresh and interesting to familiar stories? (Cannonball Read 13)
