Trump's Former Mistress Gives Interview to CNN, Says that Trump Compared Her to Ivanka
We don’t run Pajiba Love on Friday, so please allow me to use this intro as a reminder that this Saturday, March 24th, is the March For Our Lives. If you do not live in DC, you can find local marches here. I hope you will participate. If you live in Chicago, give me a shout on Twitter or Facebook and we can march together.
Karen McDougal — the other Donald Trump mistress — gave CNN an interview about her affair with Trump. Among the revelations: Trump didn’t like to use a condom (puke); he told her that he “loved her” “all the time,” and he did compare her to Ivanka.

Presumably, Trump knew this interview was coming, which is why he may have fired H.R. McMaster and decided to hire hard-liner John Bolton to replace him (before, as I understand it, officially telling John Bolton).
Trump also apparently considered firing John Kelly and serving as his own Chief of Staff, and NO, WE ARE NOT MAKING THIS UP. (The Hill)
Papa Spears is starting a public feud with K-Fed over the request to increase child support payments. This is just icky on so many fronts. K-Fed tried to be discreet about this. He also has sole custody of the boys. And reportedly he hasn’t used Britney’s mental health issues to his benefit. (Celebitchy)
JOHN BOYEGA AND PUPPIES. Ahem. That is all. (Lainey Gossip)
Jenny Slate and Chris Evans have broken up. Again. There is a small part of me that thinks (ridiculously) that they only reconciled because of public pressure after we shipped them so much. And that part of me feels guilty for this breakup. I’ll need to discuss this theory with Ben & Jerry tonight. (Dlisted)
This is rumored to be Kate Middleton’s last public function before baby #3 comes. And she’s still rocking heels! Her ankles are made of steel, probably. Also, she looks very, very cute. I wish she’d wear more unfussy outfits like this, but really, that’s none of my business. (GFY)
How much does Trump love being President? Not at all. Zero amount. I find comfort in this. (The Cut)
Exactly one month from today, Westworld returns to HBO. Today they started teasing the fans with some cryptic photos and hidden codes. I swear, if this turns into another Lost experience, I will riot. (Vanity Fair)
If I worked in a grocery store’s produce section, I’d probably try to stage veggies like this as well. (Atlas Obscura)
This Alien-looking mummy is wild. It’s a tiny, mutated human skeleton. But still. (Gizmodo)
If you’re going to the Kentucky Derby (or a Kentucky Derby party) you’ll want to bookmark this post for hat inspiration. I think I’m going to attempt to recreate Laura Lope’s metallic fascinator, although Princess Beatrice’s butterfly one is also tempting. (T&C)
I love poppy flowers. They grow all over Poland, and my grandmother’s garden was full of them, so they hold a special place in my heart. You know who else loved to grow them? Thomas Jefferson. His Monticello plantation was full of them. Until 1991, when the DEA pulled up all the plants and stopped selling the seeds. Christ almighty, this country sometimes. (Mental Floss)
A fascinating study from the University of Michigan School of Public Health Youth Violence Prevention Center found that the best solution to fighting crime is to plant flowers with your neighbor. Just maybe not any poppies. (The Conversation)
NASA released new photos taken by the Hubble telescope, and they are truly spectacular. Maybe you’re looking for new computer wallpaper? These would do nicely. (IFLScience)
Devoney Looser’s The Making Of Jane Austen was like catnip to Bonnie. Austen is Bonnie’s literary ride or die, not so much the retellings and fan fic, but the scholarly works. Looser delves into the culture around Austen, how she shaped it and how others shaped her legacy to ensure her continued popularity. "Looser proficiently bridges the gap between scholarly and general writing, and this book is all the more worth reading, because of it." Have you ever wondered how Darcy became sexy? (Cannonball Read 10)
