The absolute worst elements of the Star Wars fandom got what they wanted this week as Lucasfilm canceled The Acolyte instead of renewing the kickass show for Season 2. In fairness, the numbers weren’t there. I get it. That said, there is no justification in the world for toxic nerds to dump even more racism all over Amandla Stenberg’s Instagram to celebrate their “victory.” It’s not her fault women won’t talk to you and presumably run screaming in the opposite direction.
