Kevin Smith is not so much about making movies anymore as much as he is about being paid to get high and talk. He’s got a new show on Hulu debuting in June which is basically him and 50 movie fans shooting the shit about a new movie release. He also has in mind an ideal guest whose “dick he’d like to suck.” Verbally, of course, which would be quite the linguistic feat. (Movieline)

Here are six movie bars where you’d like to drink. Yes on Number 5. Double yes on Number 2. (Unreality)

Remember that 13,000 calorie “F*ck You” Pizza from Pizza Hut? That was fake. Taco Bell’s new burrito FILLED WITH NACHOS is not. (Uproxx)

The “Doctor Who” Puppet (see below) now has his own Tumblr account, folks. Now Matt Smith is the perfect size to … I don’t know where I was going with that, but I will respectfully pull out of that joke. Unless it has batteries, then all bets are off. (Gothamist)

Speaking of Matt Smith, we already know what show is the most illegally downloaded, but guess what the most legally downloaded show of 2011 was? The surprise here, at least to me, was number nine on the list of the most downloaded shows. (WG)

How much love is there in Pajiba-land for Duncan Jones, the director behind Source Code and Moon? He”ll be taking on a decidedly different genre the next time around, as he’s set to direct a biopic about, Ian Fleming, the author behind James Bond. Who should play Fleming? I’d cast James McAvoy in three shakes of a Fasspenis. (Slashfilm)

Last night the Billboard Music Awards were held and Miley Cyrus decided to wear her boyfriend’s sport jacket and apparently neglected to wear anything else. (Fug Girls)

In industry news, NextFilm has purchased, which is home to some of our favorite writers (Eric D. Snider, William Goss, Laremy Legal). It’s also home to this fabulous piece on who would win in a battle between The Avengers’ Helicarrier and the Battleships of Battleship. (

Speaking of favorite writers, Nathan Birch has quietly become another one of mine, and here he takes the piss out of gamer blogs, compiling this marvelous list of the 39 Headlines You Need to Become a Successful Video Game Blogger. (GammaSquad)

Schmidt from “New Girl” is a huge fan of GOOP, apparently. This somehow has the affect of lowering and raising my opinion of him simultaneously. (oh, and JoRo: This is side-boob). (Celebitchy)

Look! Nathon Fillion meets a tiny Captain Reynolds cosplayer. Awwwwwwwwww. (via Slashfilm)

So, an eight-year-old white kid decided to dress up as Martin Luther King, Jr. to honor him on Martin Luther King, Jr. day. The problem? Blackface. Putting aside the fact that his parents probably should’ve caught this, I hardly think we can throw stones at a kid for failing to understand that what he did was in HORRIBLE TASTE. (Videogum)

On the other hand, despite her protestations to the contrary, I’m pretty sure this woman IS racist. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s an Arkansas relative of mine. (Buzzfeed)

Gawker is predicting that perhaps poor Taylor Kitsch’s blockbuster career is already over. We’ll always have this together, Taylor. (Gawker)

Alison Brie is dating Dave Franco? Oh, I don’t know how I feel about this at all. I mean, on the one hand, I like Dave Franco because he’s an awesome douchebag. But on the other, he’s is a douchebag. (The Insider)

Say whatever you want about Will Smith, folks, but don’t say he’s not thankful for the jumpstart that “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” gave him. While other actors often disown their earlier works (see John Cusack, Better Off Dead), Smith owns his, taking to the Graham Norton show to spiritedly rap the “Fresh Prince” theme song.
